V. A New Chapter for Shengtai Group
In July 2020, Shengtai Tyre Group entered bankruptcy reorganization. The following September, Zhejiang Wuchan Chemical Group took over operations at both plants. After the reorganization plan was approved in 2021, Shengtai Tyre Group was integrated into Zhejiang Wuchan’s tire portfolio. The new parent company also launched its own passenger tire brand, “ChiFeng,” aiming to lead China’s PCR tire market. The reorganized Shengtai is now moving forward with renewed strength and a complete product lineup.
